I am P. Solange Hilfinger-Pardo and I founded Aurora Legal in 2025. I have always worked for people oppressed by the systems we’re forced to live with every day.

Starting in law school, I was a leader in the Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation Clinic, fighting against big banks trying to take people’s homes. For years as an attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau I worked to right the imbalance of power consumers face in financial markets.

I was an attorney in the Contra Costa Public Defender’s Office where I fought day-in day-out for my clients in court. I have also worked at a plaintiff-side firm doing class actions that helped protect hundreds of thousands of consumers who had been wronged by reckless companies and people whose civil liberties were infringed.
